Charles Bobo started the firm after more than two decades in the industry, having seen firsthand how large financial institutions often prioritize volume over outcomes. He built Ascend to be different: fewer clients, deeper relationships, more proactive work.
Today, our team combines deep expertise in tax strategy, retirement planning, investment management, and legacy coordination. With proprietary analytical tools, we can give clients a level of clarity that most firms simply can't offer.

Jason specializes in working within the business and investment community. He has helped business owners, investors, and federal employees navigate tax complexity and protect their assets. He maintains deep partnerships with the SBA and the Small Business Development Corporation.
Ashton played semi-pro basketball and professional tennis early in life and eventually built a successful career in IT and real estate. Upon entering the financial planning industry, he developed a specialization in the areas of Estate and Trust planning for families, larger estates, and closely held corporations. He also brings a high-level of knowledge to the premium financing space to protect high-value clients and estates.
Tony, a native of California, has been in the business of financial planning, consumer finance, insurance and mortgage banking for over 30 years. With a driven, solution oriented attitude, he helps discover the wants and needs of those he works with to create the life that they desire. Above all, he puts people first and values building relationships that last a lifetime with his clients.
Matthew is a graduate of the University of Colorado, he brings experience in financial operations, marketing, and logistics management to his work with clients. As a licensed insurance advisor and Series 65 investment advisor representative, Matthew focuses on building personalized strategies centered on protection, steady growth, and long-term legacy planning.
